There are many ways to help and the Team Fred site is all about love. If you can help with a donation of money it would be very much appreciated. ALL money goes to Fred and Anne for medical costs incurred except the 2.9% plus a .30cent transaction fee that Paypal charges (and we can’t do anything about that). For example, if you give $100, Fred & Anne get $96.80 ($100 less 2.9% -.30cents). You do NOT need a PayPal account to make a donation (credit card payments are only processed securely through them).
Please know that providing a way for friends, family and co-workers to donate was NOT requested by Fred and Anne. They are consumed with the process of survival and, like many of us, hate to impose on the goodwill of others. Yet, this is a life event that will test them in all ways. We as Team Fred cannot know what it’s like to live in their shoes, but we can at least make money for medical costs a slightly smaller worry.

If there is a silent auction at the benefit dinner (Oct 24th), when do you need donations (auction items) by? Are you looking for anything in particular for the auction?
We would like to have donations by October 20th if possible, but we will still accept items on the 24th before the dinner begins. We are not looking for anything particular, but some people are donating gift certificates, homemade craft items, and a pair of good sunglasses. I’m so glad the website was set up. I didn’t know about the challenge that Anne and Fred were facing, and will be anxiously checking the website for news of Fred’s progress. My thoughts are with you both as you move forward in this journey.

Was asked several times at the dinner last night how people can donate if they don’t have a PayPal account. Perhaps some information about that on the website would be helpful? all the best and go TeamFred!

I will also add another line closer to the top of the page. The credit card donations only are processed through PayPal but you don’t need an account with PayPay.
